References

Here is a convenient list of p3d-related references, with a short description of each paper. All references were collected in a plain-text file that can be used with latex/pdftex and bibtex: p3drefs.bib.

If your research benefits from the use of p3d, we would appreciate the following acknowledgement in your paper: "This research has made use of the integral-field spectroscopy data-reduction tool p3d, which is provided by the Leibniz-Institut für Astrophysik Potsdam (AIP)."

Mast 2012, Astronomy & Astrophysics, 545, pp.A137 [A&A abstract page, NASA ADS, the paper is freely available here (pdf)].
indentThis paper describes everything of the PyCosmic cosmic-ray rejection algorithm, and also compares it to the L.A. Cosmic and the dar algorithms when used with fiber-fed Integral-Field Spectroscopy data. Cite this paper if you cleaned your single images in p3d using PyCosmic (the easiest way is to use the two keywords /crclean and imagemethod=0).
